The PCR connects with a telephone line, or a phone extension or a microphone or a radio channel input.
It starts and stops recording automatically using voice activation
(You may start and stop recording manually, if preferred)
The PCR stamps current date and time, Caller ID or Dialed numbers onto the speech files. (If provided by your telephone system)
PCR uses the power of the large storage capacity CF card.
Using a 1 Gigabyte CF card (128 mg standard with the unit) you can have either 250 hours or 500 hours of storage depending on the compression used

The Plug-and-Play function allows the conversations and the call Information to be stored automatically and easily downloaded to a PC for playback and review when desired.
The large LCD display and user-friendly search functions make search and playback of previously recorded conversations extremely simple from the unit itself.
A search of recordings can be done by inputting a combination of Time, Date and Telephone number using the PC interface.
The PCR can be utilized for a number of applications, Stand alone recorder, Instant recall, or service observance.
Even if you currently have a recorder in place you can use the PCR to provide redundancy for your current configuration
